Course Overview

All selected applicants will start classes at the DevOps Bootcamp on July 26th.

The training will be conducted in 210h during 3 months.

Classes will be held in the evening to avoid conflict with working hours.

The course will be hybrid, divided into remote lessons and stationary classes.

The participation in the course will be closed with a final exam followed by certification.

2,640 Euro is the total price of the program. You pay 1,380 euro, rest will be covered by Lufthansa Industry Solutions.

Recruiting Timeline

During the selection process there are a few steps to be considered to offer the most qualified and best-fit candidates the opportunity to join this course. Only the applicants that successfully complete the steps in the timeline below may be the newest team-members of the DevOps department at Lufthansa Industry Solution.

3 May - 13 June

Collecting and selecting CVs of the candidates.

23-25 June

First stage of recruitment meetings. During this stage, a predisposition test will take place.

5-7 July

Second stage of recruitment meetings.

12-19 July

Final decision and signing contracts with the candidates.

27 July

Course starts.

1. SDA will carefully evaluate every CV sent and decide which candidates fit the DevOps Eng. profile the best. Application for CVs will be open until 13/06/21.

2.. If your application is selected, you'll be invited for a first interview on 23-25/06/21 where a logical test will take place and a check of your English skills will be performed.

3. If you successfully pass these stages, the last interview will happen on 5-7/07/21.

4. After signing the contract, you will be ready to start the course on 27/07/21.

You may get a chance to join Lufthansa Industry Solutions team, if you:

  • Pass successfully the selection process
  • Attend all the classes not less than 80%
  • Take the exam and pass it at a level not less than 80% (No worries if you do not achieve the desired results! You have a second chance to retake the exam within 7 days from the date of the first one)
  • Be the right fit for the company’s culture
Course will be organized in stationary classes and online lessons, so you will be able to combine learning with practice. You will work in a group of maximum 20 people. To fit participant's schedule, the classes will be held in the evening. The whole training will be led by the best IT experts and professionals from the biggest IT academy in the EU - Software Development Academy. You will get access to all materials and get constant support from your trainer.
During the course you will get more than 200 training hours in various topics covered by Software Development Academy. Topics include: Bash scripting, basics of Python and Powershell scripting, Containerization basics using Docker, Virtualization using VirtualBox, Cloud computing using Azure, Container orchestration using OpenShift and Kubernetes, Infrastructure as code & GitOps using Terraform & Ansible.
